Jim's Corner

It was another one of my returns to Paris — chasing a muse, hoping to breathe in some inspiration. But once again, the city met me with heaviness, gloom, wild faces, and empty eyes. Then a musician friend said: “Go to Jim’s Corny. It’ll help.” I went — and it felt like stepping out of the noise. It was delicious, calming, genuinely good. The music wasn’t just background — it felt like a quiet conversation with myself. The playlist matched my state so precisely, so gently. This place brings you back to yourself. After it, even Parisians’ faces seem softer. When the right music plays inside you, Paris begins to breathe again.

A very lovely place! All the food is absolutely fresh, and the portions are quite large. The staff is very friendly and always smiling. There is a wide variety of desserts, and the prices are pleasantly affordable. A great selection of drinks, including all types of milk. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Not even exaggerating, best meal I eat in Paris. I look forward to Jim’s every time I come. The big Brekki is to die for, pancakes are insane, the cappuccino is perfection, and Alex in the front is the kindest! 11/10 recommend.

Such a lovely café with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We had an excellent cappuccino made with high-quality coffee and prepared on a proper Italian espresso machine—clearly a place that takes its coffee seriously. The staff were very kind and attentive, and we appreciated the complimentary water, which was a nice touch. The only downside was that the restroom was out of order during our visit. It would be great to see that fixed to complete an otherwise great experience.

I really loved this coffee shop! The coffee is perfect — smooth and not bitter at all. The food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. The barista, Inna, is amazing — super friendly, kind, and professional! Definitely coming back!

We were on the hunt for a spot to grab a quick breakfast and came across Jim’s corner. This little spot was offering up some delicious breakfast items at a reasonable price so I couldn’t resist trying. Both the food and drinks did not disappoint, the sandwich was made with fresh ingredients and was full of flavour, the coffee was equally as good and their Americano was one of the best I have had in a while. If you are looking for a good breakfast I would definitely recommend this place!

We started the day with the most delicious breakfast in the sun – fresh orange juice, crispy sourdough bread with butter and jam, and a perfect breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and crispy bacon. Everything was tasty, fresh, and simple – just how a good breakfast should be! The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, perfect for a slow morning in the city. Highly recommended if you want to start your day with something good
